Shawn,
Just wanted to let you know the order arrived today and in perfect order with no breakage. Wow the pictures were great but in the flesh as it were they are even better, it’s simply amazing what a great paint job does to what were once tired old out of production models. This will certainly brighten up the look of my High Elves on the table and as soon as funds allow I’ll be calling on your services again. Can i just say what wonderful customer service you guys give, the sort it seems that only fellow enthusiasts can be capable of. Feel free to post these words to the website, if they help to convince one more person to use your services then it’s been worth it. For all those gamers out there that want nicely painted models but lack the necessary skills and or patience to do the work themselves you only need to think of Blue Table really can’t say enough how happy i am with the results. Keep up the great work.

Ok – fire the camera person! Why you say? Because he/she did not do justice to the artist’s work on my Infinity models! I was fooled into thinking they looked very good from the pictures on your site, but they are so much more fabulous in-person, truly! I know Blue Table is really into modding and painting the big armies, but you have proven to me you really care about us little skirmishers too. I won’t hesitate to send more models in the future and recommend you everywhere for the outstanding quality of your work. Thanks so much Blue Table!
Hi Shawn I received the red hunters SM army, there was no damage to any of the models ( thanks Sarah ) I like your take on the Vulkan army lots of infantry models interesting, look forward to trying them out on the table, if i video a batrep in the future some think am looking to do i will send you a link so you can take a look.
Please pass on my thanks to the guys who worked on the army, thanks Shawn.

This is a collection of miniatures I’ve had stowed away for a few years now. It was a concept army I came up with. It uses mainly Heru from Crocodile Games. They are hawk-headed egyption type warriors. Then using other kits from GW (notably High Elf plastics and Cities of Death bitz) I created this Heru Sky Raiders force.
More pics.
It consists of:
2x Mages
2x Sky Chariots
10x Skyboard Riders (cavalry)
2x Skyboard Heroes
2x Bolt Throwers and crew
3x fillers (mage paraphernalia)
19x Spearmen (with shields and bows)
30x Archers
2x Giant Desert Hawks
This is obviously highly converted, highly themed. I loved this army. But it’s time to move on. It’s on the block for $950. That includes shipping in the US and to select other countries (eg Australia, Europe).

Yesterday was Saturday. All family all day. I baptized my eldest son (eight years old). Family came from all around and we had a late lunch at home. Tamie and her two sisters swooped into the kitchen and started throwing around meat and spices.
That night I took my son out on a special date. OK, so we went to Wal Mart. But that’s where he wanted to go. At the LDS supply store we picked him up a tie tack and a journal. He is a kind and mild-mannered child. Quick to share and to give up his own interests. From the time he was born he was always just happy to be along for the ride.
I also picked up a hardback called Believing Christ. Very good read. It tackles the mother of all issues: grace/justice/mercy/forgiveness between God and Man.
In the parking lot of Wal Mart I picked up a few bags of tamales from a grey market vendor. They were delicious. At first, I was thinking “what’s to say these are safe?” But what’s to say that processed food from a factory is safe? I love the free market. I’ve been working to bring as many as my transactions as possible to a local level; getting my food and supplies local.
So what am I doing at Wal Mart.

I had a dream the other night, about three nights ago. I dreamed that I was taking a swim in a deliciously warm river. The sunlight was golden. The next day the river was frozen, and the air was white with driven snow. I thought to myself “Good thing I took a swim while the weather was warm.”
The next day, reflecting on this, I remember driving up into the mountains in Oregon. There’s a steep road with a cliff to one side. It then dives into old pine forests where there is only a thin ribbon of sky between the tips of the trees, high above. It was about this time of year six years ago.
We pulled up to a terrific new log home way up in the woods. It’s where my father lived the last months of his life. I was there to visit with him the second to last time. He took me out on a balcony and motioned to a new truck down in the dirt driveway. New and big. He told me that he was close to retirement, and had bought the truck only shortly before being diagnosed with cancer. He lamented not being able to enjoy it.
He advised me to live life, enjoy life, and not wait to buy a truck. So to speak. Carpe diem and all that.
Today is Sunday. It was nothing short of delightful. Nope, didn’t do anything. Our church is being held at 1pm now which is infinitely better than 2:30pm. My wife made some chile.

I saw this outside the church today.
I just realized what is wrong with my vulture demon. I tried to be cool and tricky and shade the pale green with dark blue. It’s off. I’m going to go back and not try to be tricky; shade it with green.
For the studio Fantasy campaign (which may or may not take off) I think I’m going to do Orcs and Goblins. That’s one army I’ve never done.
The Lumina doesn’t burn oil. That was just a slop on the block when the previous owner was trying to top it off. I theorize.

More pics of this birdie-baddie. This is only a work in progress.
Today was Paint Fest. Best one ever. Huge turnout, professional presentation and training, awesome spread of Chinese food, and a lot (lot) of painting. I managed to make some serious inroads on this vulture demon for Fateweavers Mk2.
It was a good day, virtually an entire pendulum swing from yesterday: deals working, and good news from the mechanic.
Sure, it would have been great to say, “Hey, anyone want to see the woman who blew the transmission out of our car? Two bits a gander!” But it was better to not get a massive bill. I am joking, of course. Tamie and I don’t hold on to stuff like that.
I am very tired. Worn out. I’ve been sleeping through the night, but only just barely, so I’m about an hour short.
PS- OK, bright and early the next morning…
Salamanders army: Sold
We’re starting a studio Warhammer Fantasy campaign. One of the kind that you start out with a small, probably 500 point force. Renn is the master of that. I’ll probably build up yet another army besides the tzeentch daemons, just to start on equal footing with everyone. What shall it be? Dwarfs maybe. Hmmmm… High Elves!
The Fateweavers Tzeentch daemons army is likely to be painted this coming week. Yay! Those of you following along know this is the second incarnation.
Got the Oceanic Eldar back today. That made my heart sing. Plans for that army include: armorcast revenant titan, more Dire Avengers and a second Farseer. And maybe another squadron of War Walkers. That will definitely do it for that army.
I’m a fan of making multiple armies rather than building a single one up to enormous proportions. Yes, I know I just explained how I was doing just that with the Eldar (at least 4000 pts with those expansions).
Mid-range projects will probably include Orks and a War Machine army. The new FW stuff coming out is just too cool.
If you’re thinking of doing a Skaven army, just keep us in mind. Put us down for it. I am waiting for the army book and new kits to come out, and doing a small test run, before setting up specials for them. But rest assured, the specials are coming! We will definitely order a ton of kits to have them on hand for you.
Too many armies, too little time!

Shawn’s comments: I really doubt they will do a 2 in 1. The trend has been to compartmentalize the armies and the Dark Angels has only relatively recently come out.
Thanks to Advance Scout Paul for these advance reports.

This last 48 hours has been a succession of reversals.
While I was at the dentist, when the Doctor just came in to start work, my lovely wife appeared overhead. We had the following friendly exchange (friendly):
I need your car, my engine light is on and I have to take the kids on a field trip.
Did you check the transmission two weeks ago like I asked?
Nope, I’ve had other things going on.
What do you want me to do about it?
I want you to be a man and take care of it.
We’re waiting to hear back from the mechanics. Best case: $400. Worst case: $2400. Transmission problems suck. I’ve been checking out cars in the area. I’ll never buy a car with a loan ever again. Show up with hundreds and you can get something at half blue-book.
Today we picked up a junker car, just to get me gimped to and from work. It’s a 1995 chevy Lumina. $400. That was a punch in the junk. I hate that car already. It burns oil. It’s like driving around in a hot tub with eight blind spots. But at least I’ve got wheels to and from work.
Deals falling through. Money in the mail not showing up.
I’m not complaining, in fact I’m smiling. This is fun. I just know there’s three good things for every bad one in life. I like life. I am very optimistic. Supernaturally optimistic.

Got this army up for sale.

MORE INFO:

Close Combat Weapons x2
Jump Packs x1
Power Fists x1
Meltagun x8
Power Weapon x3
Plasma Pistol x3
Combi Flamer x4
Combi Melta x1

This is approximately what is in there. There are about 38 extras, all magnetized.
There are about ten heavy weapons, mostly multi-meltas, just fixed pose. Predators not magnetized; they can later have sponsons magnetized if you want. Razorbacks switch between HB and TLLC. Dreads are not magnetized at all, except to the base for transport. Those could be magnetized if you wanted to do that as a separate project.
Sabol is the case you’d need. I have one on hand for $120 that it will all fit in. If you pick up the army by Friday I’ll just include that no charge.
Infantry includes:
2x heavy flamers
2x heavy bolters
4x plasma cannons
2x multi melta
4x meltas
1x plasma rifle
3x missile launcher
3x sergeants with no arms (for the magnetized parts)
2x sergeants with power fists
11x Sternguard with one magnetized arm (for a rifle-type weapon) These could also be sgts.
23x with just regular bolters
The quad attack bikes have two options each.
The Fateweavers second incarnation is well underway. The models need to be plated (for magnetized trays) and textured. I made some really demented freak-jobs, even more outlandish than the last set.
The vulture demon from ultraforge showed up.
Brigh was working on a concept piece for Kairos Fate Weaver. But it didn’t turn out so well. So, we’re taking another shot at it tomorrow.
The Blue Scribes are going to find themselves in a different incarnation as well.
Let’s talk about the studio Vampire Counts. I wasn’t successful in selling it off at the “no fuss” price so I’m going to really take it up a notch. Here’s what’s up with that:
1) I sold the Lich Dragon, almost by accident, but I have parts on hand to make another one. It is really an imposing figure in the background. However, I don’t like those huge-normous figures because they unbalance any army of less than 3000 points.
2) Adding ten Dire Wolves.
3) Adding six Black Knights converted from Tomb Guard.
4) Adding six Cairn Wraith conversions (we did a little test run about a year back, now it’s time to make some more).
5) Adding a LOAD of zombies mixed and matched with other kits (like empire infantry) to make each one unique. I’m thinking at least sixty.
6) Adding one Wight King conversion, mounted.
Pretty sure that pushes is up above 3000 pts. All the materials are in, the assembly is about half done. The zombies is the big thing that’s left. I might just take it on myself.
For 40K I’ve got some Death Korps in trade. They’re too good and too cool not to do up as a studio army. It’s about seventy infantry, six of those quad guns, a huge tractor gun (?), some heavy weapons. It just needs some tanks. Yes, oh, yes, some tanks.
There’s more. The Oceanic Eldar are coming back!
The Vampire Counts are being done with the intention of selling them, so look for that later.
